Naat Competition - 10th August 2012

Naat competition was held in the month of August students participated in the competition with full interest and excitement. They recited the melodious naath in their pleasant and beautiful voice, and mesmeriseed the audiences. It was judged by Mrs. Shehnaaz and Mr. Talha who is the member of Pharoas Foundation. The judges were impressed by the voices of the young talented students of our school. At the end of the competition winners were declared.

Investiture ceremony - 27th August 2012

Investiture ceremony for the year 2012-13 was held on 27th august 2012 at 11:00 am in the school . The programme began by recitation of prayer. This was followed by the presentation of badges by Principal Mrs.Zulekha Siddiqui to prefects, captains, vice-captains, assistant head boy/girl, head boy/girl and monitors of all the classes. The children took the oath in the ceremony whereby they vowed to abide by the creed and fulfil their duties to the best of their abilities.  Students were representing their respective houses by holding their house flags. Principal Mrs. Zulekha Siddiqui in her speech congratulated the students and reminded them to be responsible and urged them to follow their duties , she also made them understand that student council is an important body of the school and they should help in maintaining  discipline in the school, as well as develop the qualities of a good leader.

Talent Hunt Competition - 30th August 2012

Anjuman-I-Islam’s A.A.K. English Secondary School orgaganized a talent hunt competition for its students to bring out their hidden capabilities. The students enthusiastically took part and gave a tough competition to each other. The incharge teachers were allotted separate rooms to carry out these activities. The four best categories under which students have shown their talents were

1- Best out of wast.

2 - Envelope making.

3 - Chaat Making.

4 - Fabric painting.

The Students made innovative projects in best out of waste. They explored their artistic abilities in envelope making and fabric painting. In chaat making they prepared the nutritious and delicious chaats. Principal Mrs. Zulekha Siddiqui admired the efforts of the students and appreciated their work.
