Debate Competition (Semi-Final) - 17th september 2012
There is a famous quote by Addison Whitecomb
“When you resort to attacking the messenger and not the message, you have lost the debate”.
The Debate competition for the year 2012-13 was held on 17th September in the school playground. Instructions regarding the criteria of Debate competition was given by Mr. Inamullah Sir. The topic choosen for the Debate was media has done/not done hard to the society. There were 2 debaties conducted.
Group-I :- Between Red and Blue house.
Group-II :- Between Green and Yellow house.
All the students put forward their points. The young debators were fully prepared. The points given in favors and against media were praiseworthy. The content, presentation, pronunciation and expression of the students were remarkable. Red house was the winner from group 1st and yellow house was the winner from Group 2nd. The debate competition left all felling intellectually activated.

Debate Competition (Final) - 21th September 2012
Final debate competition was held on 21st September 2012. Red house and yellow house, winners of the semi-finals competed in Finals. The topic of the debate was “Does Social networking sites help in improving social interaction.” The debaters were equipped with knowledge and current happening. They raised the thought provoking questions and elected answers. Students presented and defended their point of view in a very civilized manner. After an engrossing debate red house emerged as a winner. Principal Mrs. Zulekha Siddiqui announced the Results and also declared that Red house and yellow house will represent school in inter- Anjuman competition. She encouraged the participants and provided fruitful suggestions.

English Elocution Competition - 24th september 2012
Elocution refers to one’s capacity of communicating with others, with the use of exact speech and gestures. A healtjy competitive spirit enlightened the faces of the students. We had students competing against each other in the individual level competition. Keeping in mind the several factors which are adjudged during a competition the children focused on aspects like culmination of voice quality speech content and the delivery standards. Winning the competition was a matter of honour and pride not only for the individual’s participants but also for the classes that won. The competition enabled our boys to speak with more clarity and it surely was an enjoyable experience for all those who participated.

Hindi Elocution Competition - 28th September 2012
28th September 2012 was celebrated as Hindi Diwas at Anjuman-I-Islam’s A.A.K. English Secondary School. To celebrate this day Hidni Elocution was organized . The students participated in the competition enthusiastically. It was very enthusiastic to see the number of students participants in the same. The topics of the competition are as follows :-
Students expressed their feelings and thoughts with extreme confidence in Hindi. The Students reminded us the fact that Hindi is the only language that bands all Indians in the modern world. While it is equally important to move with the times, it is equally important to remember our roots and we should preserve our National language.
