INDEPENDENCE DAY

15^th August, 2014.

           As  rightly said by Richelle. E. Goodrich , “ Freedom is the atmosphere in which humanity thrives Breath it in “

          Anjuman-I-Islam’s  A.A.K English Secondary school celebrated the 68^th Independence Day on  15^th August in the school hall. The staff , students and parents gathered to celebrate this special day. Mr. Bhushan Harris Executive chairman ( Board for Navi Mumbai), the chief guest for the day who along with the school band was escorted by the Principals of the Primary and Secondary sections , Mr. Rahiya Baig and Mrs. Zullekha Siddiqui respectively

          The Programme started with a parade by the students of  the primary and secondary  sections followed by the flag hosting ceremony. The chief guest was then welcomed and he delivered a few words of enthusiasm to the audience.  The students from the primary and secondary sections then took the programm ahead with their patriotic dance performances , song and skits . The entire programme was compered by Miss. Fouzia Shaikh ( Primary ) and Miss. Tehseen Mistry ( secondary).

          It was indeed a day of Joy , love and respect for the country at Anjumsn-I-Islam’s  A.A.K  English secondary school. The programme endes with the national anthem by Mrs. Usha Rewale.

          As rightly said by Mahatma Gandhi “ This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave”
