CHILDRENS DAY
It has been rightly said by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru , “ Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly , as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow”
Anjuman-I –Islams A.A.K English Secondary school Children’s day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence various activities and events were specially organized by all the teachers for this day. As part of the celebration , the students were first shown a documentary on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru After that there were various activities for the students. The students made excellent posters on cleanliness , some of them wrote essay on the importance of cleanliness. As part of the activity , the students cleaned their respective classes and also cleaned the school building. The best poster were put up on the notice board.
The student did not wear their regular school uniform instead they put on colourful and their best dresses. After the activities , the students were from std. V to X were assembled in the school hall where a small function was organized fro them. The function was hosted by Mrs. Rajkumari Chouhan and Mrs. Almas Kazi. The function stated with a small dua by Mr. Inamullah and a beautiful Nath by Mrs. Shehnaz Patwegar. Then there was a short English speech by Mrs. Tehseen Mistry . There was also a hindi speech by Mrs Yasmin shaikh also, there were different games for each standard. The winner from each standard was given a gift by the principal, Mrs. Zulekha Siddique.
Lastly , the principal thanked all the teachers for organizing such a wonderful programme. She also encouraged and guided the students to study hard and obey their parents and teachers , so as to become successful citizens of the country . She appreciated the hard work of the students for cleaning their classes and the school. But she also mentioned that it should not be a one day affair. The students should see to it that they always keep their surrounding clean. The excitement and enjoyment of the students made every teacher glorify
