STUDENT’S  COUNCIL ELECTIONS

            As it is lightly said “ Your vote not only picks the candidate but also the policy.”

           The elections of the school council members were held on 24^th July in Anjuman-I –Islam’s  A.A.K English Secondary school hall. The voting was done by the students of Std VIII to X. The students were made to sit in the school hall according to their houses,  ie Red , Blue , Green  and Yellow. Before starting the voting procedure, all the candidate came forwar one by one  and campaigned for themselves and told the students what will they do if elected. After  the candidates finished their campaigning , the principal of the school, Mrs. Zulekha Siddique praised the candidates and gave instruction to the students regarding how they have to vote and guided the students to vote for the suitable candidates and not on the basis of favoritisms.

            All the students had to vote for the Head boy, Head girl , Assistant head boy and Assistant head girl, After this, the students had to vote for the respective House  captains, Vice Captains and Prefects. The house teachers were sitting with the ballot boxes and the students were given markings on
