Anjuman-I-Islam's A.A.K. English Secondary School, vashi has initiated a program on 'Gender Sensitization' for its students of std 5th - 7th and for std 8th-9th on 'Gender Champions' in collaboration with Chetana Foundation.It would be a month long program and through various activities , students would understand , Gender discrimination , sharing responsibilities, respect for women /girls, accepting changing roles of women, understanding peer pressure, consequences of wrong behaviour, learning to be assertive, defining friendship etc. Hope to bring about a change in the perspective of these tender minds so that we have a society which is free of any kind of gender discrimination.
