Teachers’ day celebration

Teaching is the art of changing lives, Teachers inspire minds and change hearts. Teachers' day is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr. SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, who was a philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day.

His contribution towards Indian education is undeniable. Teachers' Day was celebrated at Anjuman-I-Islam's A.A.K. English Secondary School, Vashi on 5th September, 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm. A warm welcome at the school gate with flowers and tastefully decorated ‘ENTRANCE was a pleasant surprise for all the teachers. Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizens of tomorrow and good human beings. Hence to express their gratitude, a wide range of activities were organised on this occasion.

Fun filled games were planned at the school hall which reminded the teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic. That was not all, the students planned many spectacles for the day and showcased many scintillating performances, which highlighted the heart warming relationship between a teacher and a student. A token of appreciation was presented to the entire staff for their selfless and dedicated service.

The Principal, Mrs. Zulekha Siddiqui congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts of every teacher for painstaking effort they selflessly put in every day. The Principal reminded the students of the tireless labour and love all the teachers put in to bring them up as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals. She said that being a teacher is one of the greatest privileges to contribute towards Nation Building. It was a remarkable day for all the students as well as the teachers with many unforgettable moments.

All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event to cherish forever. The day was concluded by sumptuous lunch for the entire staff of the school @ Yogi Executive Boutique Hotel ' , Sampda. After enjoying the delicious meal everyone enjoyed playing antakshari and had lots of fun. "Your Teacher can open the door but you must enter.
