Children’s day
Anjuman-I-Islam’s A. A. K. English Secondary School celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2024 with great enthusiasm and joy to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of free India. The day was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and excitement, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone. The school was looking beautiful with children in colourful clothes beaming with happiness.
The celebrations began in the classrooms, where the class teachers distributed snacks and engaged the students in various fun-filled activities. Exciting games were organized for the children, and the winners were announced amidst cheers.
The formal program commenced in the assembly hall with the recitation of qirat by Mr. Muzakkir, followed by a soulful Naat recitation by Mrs. Shehnaz, setting a serene tone for the day. The school spirit was further uplifted as students and teachers joined together in singing the Anjuman Tarana, the school anthem. The highlight of the event was a heartwarming speech by the Principal, Mrs. Zulekha Siddiqui, who emphasizedthe significance of Children's Day, nurturing young minds, and fostering a supportive environment for their growth.
Adding a cultural touch, Mrs. Sangeeta recited a beautiful Marathi poem, while Mrs. Pooja delighted the young audience with her melodious songs. Mr. Nitin entertained the children with a fun-filled song and a game.
One of the most entertaining segments of the event was a skit performed by a group of teachers, which brought smiles and laughter to everyone. The skit conveyed a message to the students to be mindful of the company they keep, as it can shape their future, emphasizing the influence of good friendships on their lives.The celebration also included performances by teachers, making the day even more special for the students. The in-charge teachers, Ms. Shagufta and Mrs. Tabassum , along with hosts Ms. Tehseen and Mrs. Rajkumari, ensured the event was well-coordinated and lively. Prizes and certificates were awarded to the students who excelled in extracurricular activities, acknowledging their dedication and achievements.
The day concluded with the distribution of gifts to all the children, a gesture that brought happiness to every child present. The entire program was a testament to the hard work of the teachers and the vibrant spirit of the school, ensuring that this Children’s Day was a memorable one for all.
The celebration not only entertained the students but also reminded them of the importance of their growth, both in academics and in character.
