On the occasion of Deloitte Impact Day, the students of Anjuman-I-Islam’s A. A. Khatkhatay English Secondary School, Vashi participated in a workshop meticulously designed for young minds, aimed to foster their imagination, creativity and critical-thinking skills. The workshop was conducted by the Deloitte group in the school on 13th December, 2024. For Std V to VIII, the workshop focused on Creative writing where as for Std IX and X it mainly focused on Critical-thinking.
In Std V to VIII, the workshop began with an engaging icebreaker session, where students introduced themselves and shared their favourite authors, books or genres. A similar activity was conducted for Std IX and X, where the students were shown a few images to get them thinking and eventually the topic of Critical-thinking was introduced to them.
The respective facilitators then led the students through a series of innovative games, activities, discussions and exercises, all of which were designed to stimulate their creativity, imagination and logical thinking. These students shared their opinions on certain terms and situations that were put across. The entire session was very well planned with each activity coming in at the right time. The students wholeheartedly participated in the discussions and activities.
At the end of the session, goodies were gifted to all the students.
Overall, it was a very good, engaging and interactive session which mainly allowed the students to think creatively and critically. Students had a great learning experience.
