Khari Kamai(Scout and Guide activity)

Anjuman-I-Islam’s A. A. Khatkhatay English Secondary School, Vashi conducted Khari Kamai Activity for Std IX and X on 23^rd and 24^th December, 2024 respectively. The activity was a part of the Scout-Guide subject. Under the activity, the students were divided into groups of 8-10 member, with 01 student as the leader. The students were given detailed instructionsabout this activity well in advance by their incharge teacher, Mrs. RubinaMomin.

  On the day of the activity, the groups had put up their respective stalls where they sold food items like chocolate balls, Pulav, Chicken rolls etc. In addition to this, there were also 05 separate stalls for some quick and fun games.

   The students of Std V to X and the teachers as well had to purchase coupons which were then used for buying the food items of their choice. The main purpose of the activity was empowering students through entrepreneurship and thereby helping the needy students of the school.

It was a unique initiative, which aimed to empower students by teaching them the value of hard-earned money.

Through Khari Kamai, students woukd develop essential life skills like entrepreneurship, teamwork, and time management.
